President
Eugene Khavinson is the president and founder of Khavinson & Associates, P.C., formed in 2001. Since that time, Khavinson & Associates has vastly expanded to accommodate hundreds of cases and attorneys who practice in all five boroughs of New York City, as well as Westchester and Nassau Counties, and Federal Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
Mr. Khavinson spent his early career working as an engineer, having graduated from Moscow Institute of Electronic Machinery Construction in 1973. In that capacity, Mr. Khavinson held various engineering supervisory positions, but he ultimately decided to take that experience and apply it to practicing law. He graduated from Temple University School of Law in 1994 and went on to practice corporate law, real estate law, business transactions, immigration law, and civil litigation. After years of working in well-known firms, Mr. Khavinson formed Khavinson & Associates, P.C. with the intention of serving diverse clients with varying legal issues in New York City and Philadelphia.
Under Mr. Khavinson’s guidance, Khavinson & Associates is an accomplished civil litigation firm that focuses on excellent client interactions and better client outcomes. Managing the attorneys and staff in the firm, Mr. Khavinson is a wealth of information stemming from 20+ years of law practice and his extensive background knowledge in engineering and management. Moreover, clients appreciate Mr. Khavinson’s straightforward approach to their cases and his ability and acumen as their advocate.
Mr. Khavinson is admitted to practice law in New York State and Pennsylvania, as well as Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Southern District of New York.
Managing Partner
Tim Mandronico is a partner and leads the firms litigation practice. Tim is also an accomplished senior trial attorney. He has dedicated himself throughout his career to fight for fair and just compensation for those suffering from injuries due to the negligence or fault of others.
In addition to overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Khavinson & Mandronico, P.C. law office, he concentrates his practice on advocating for clients who have been injured in construction accidents, motor vehicle accidents, and premises liability.
True to the spirit of Khavinson & Mandronico, P.C., Tim believes each and every case must be litigated zealously and aggressively to ensure clients get their day in court as soon as possible. He believes that developing a strong bond of trust with his clients is essential for effective litigation.
Tim Mandronico has been practicing all phases of personal injury law for more than a decade and has successfully recovered, through trial or settlement, over $150,000,000.00 in compensation for clients throughout his career.
Attorney
Evan Levtow has spent his career representing injured clients in a wide array of legal matters involving motor vehicle accidents, construction accidents, premise liability accidents, and municipal litigation. Mr. Levtow is a fierce advocate and has obtained millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts for his clients throughout his successful litigation career in both State and Federal court. His trial experience has resulted in just compensation for his clients, who have suffered serious injuries.
Mr. Levtow has been chosen to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list four consecutive years and was named to the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 in 2023 and 2024. Mr. Levtow has excellent communication skills and, with his personal approach to each case, he has made sure each client is fairly and justly compensated by the insurance companies and/or private defendant(s) whose negligence caused the clients’ injuries. Mr. Levtow has also been very successful in Alternative Dispute Resolutions (ADR), such as mediation and arbitration, and has successfully obtained millions of dollars for his clients this way.
Mr. Levtow is admitted to the New York State Bar, as well as the Federal Eastern District of New York and Southern District of New York. Mr. Levtow graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and from Touro Law in 2014. During his time at Touro Law, Mr. Levtow was a member of the law review and was published.

Jonathan “Jon” Vitarelli is an accomplished litigator with vast experience in prosecuting personal injury matters in both State and Federal Courts. One of Mr. Vitarelli’s great accomplishments is a 15-year mass tort, infectious disease case that resulted in a multi-million dollar recovery for about 50 families including NYC Public school teachers. Jon has also graciously volunteered his time with organizations such as the 9-11 TLC, Trial Lawyers Care, and Free Lawyers for First Responders.
Jon has successfully obtained millions of dollars for his clients through his zealous legal advocacy. Jon graduated from New York University (class of '89) and then earned his Juris Doctor from New York Law School (class of '95), having secured a position with the Moot Court/Honor Society. Jon has been admitted to and remains in good standing in the bars of New York State, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern District of New York.
Attorney
Justin Pomerantz is an accomplished litigator with experience in prosecuting and defending personal injury matters. He focuses on construction accidents brought under New York State’s Labor Laws as well as premises liability and motor vehicle accidents.
Justin has obtained millions in settlements with his knowledgeable and compassionate representation of his clients and zealous and determined advocacy on their behalf.
He graduated from Tulane University obtaining his B.A. After graduating from Brooklyn Law School, he worked as a defense litigator handling a wide variety of cases including construction accidents, premises, and general liability. Justin focused on the defense construction companies and property owners in complex and high-exposure claims. He then leveraged those experiences to bring a unique perspective to representing plaintiffs in a variety of personal injury cases that help him maximize outcomes for his clients.
Justin is admitted to the New York and New Jersey State Bars.
